1) All Vitto readers build with the following functions as standard:
a) Properly the ONLY membrane reader has back lit function.
b )All readers equipped with tamper function.
c) When “*” is pressed, an onboard output will be activated simultaneously.
d) Buzzer can be control by the controller.
e) All the high frequency (13.56MHz) technologies reader supports Configuration Card to configure the reader easily at site.
f) We only use Lead-free components.
2) Vitto readers offers different technologies to suit different needs:
a) Low Frequency Technology reader (CE and FCC compliance)
This is a 125KHz proximity reader, which is compatible with HID
low frequency reader. The security level of this reader is low but cost
effective.
If the customer more concerns with the price, this shall be a better offer.
b) Mifare Technology reader
This is a high frequency technology reader (13.56MHz). The technology is offered by NXP (previous from Philips).
The security level of this reader is higher than 125KHz. The reader
can be configured to read either the UID (CSN) or the sector information
(Password is required) out of the Mifare card. If the customer
has limited budget but want to have a relative secure technology, this
shall be the better choice.
c) LEGIC Technology reader (CE & FCC compliance)
This is also a high frequency technology reader (13.56MHz). The
technology is offered by LEGIC fromSwitzerland. The security level of
this reader is the highest due to its complexity. The reader can be
configured to read either the UID (CSN) or the segment information out
of the LEGIC card.
Vitlon also offers “Token” to the customer. If the customer requires
high security and want to control the data inside the card, this shall
be the best choice for this type of customers.
3) Easy to customize
The
cover plate of the Vitton reader is customizable with very minimum
cost. The color of the base, the color of the front cover, the position
of the LEDs, the position of logo, the shape and the position of the
number pad can all be change to fulfill our customer needs.
a) Why do we need to customize? & What is the benefit of customization?
When an Access Control is installed, majority of the end user will
only encounter two devices in daily basis. One is the reader and the
other one is the card. In such case, the readers and the cards are
the two important promotion materials to tell others that this
installation is done by your Company. However, if you use the
reader labeled with your supplier’s name, and the card is labeled with
the supplier’s name as well, you are basically advertise for your
supplier and pay to support this advertisement! Nice guy! Even you
put a label to cover up the original logo, one day it will peel off!
That
is why Vitlon is recommended to have your own custom design reader and
cards, which shall protect your best interest in every aspect – Company
image, Company brand name, Price issue … etc.
4) Vitto offers generic Display Reader
Vitto
properly is the first Company in the market offer a generic Display
reader, which does NOT require the System supplier to modify anything
BUT can synchronize the display clock with the Host.
Beside the above unique function, it also supports the following features:
a) Display Date & Time
b) Display “Short Message” (e.g. Welcome toABCCompany)
c) Can configure a “Time Setup Card” to change the Date & Time on the display.
d) With a extra RS485 network from the host, the Date & Time will be synchronize with the Host automatically.
e) Can display either the Card ID or Name by individual card*
f) Can enforce PIN verification by individual card*
Note: “*” means the cards has to program with Vitto Programmer.
5) More flexibility!
Since Vitto is a reader manufacturer, we can provide unique solution to help the end user switch from one technology to the others. For example, we can provide dual technologies card with “low frequency” and “high frequency” to help the customer to switch from HID to either Mifare or LEGIC. Vitlon also offer dual technologies readers in the same aspect.
